Social event

The social event will take place on Friday evening (Feb., 27th, 2015), at the Museum of Natural History, NHM.

The Natural History Museum Vienna is one of the oldest and largest museums for natural history in the world. Founded in 1750 by Emperor Franz I Stephan of Lorraine, the husband of Maria Theresa, it has acquired a huge collection of unique objects. The recently opened digital planetarium presents multimedia shows ranging from the origins of the universe and life on earth, rise and fall of the dinosaurs and the fragile planet earth.

Participants will be able to visit the dinosaur hall and to attend a guided tour to the museum’s rooftop overlooking Vienna’s famous boulevard Ringstraße. During the evening there will be many possibilities to discuss science while wining, dining and partying.

Note: The social event is solely financed by the participants financial contribution and not by our sponsors of the scientific programme
